Job summary

Stryker is seeking a senior leader to drive global category management for sterilisation, overseeing a cross-geo team of experts and partnering with senior stakeholders to optimize spend, value, and compliance.

You will shape enterprise-wide procurement strategies, lead critical supplier negotiations, and mentor a high-performing group to deliver year-over-year improvements while maintaining quality and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of sourcing/procurement and supply chain experience, preferably in medical devices or regulated environments.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain, operations, or equivalent.
• Experience in sterilisation preferred and strong strategic thinking.
• Proven ability to engage senior stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams.
• Track record of negotiating contracts and driving supplier performance improvements.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for category management of sterilisation across global portfolios.
• Drive cost reductions, productivity improvements, and value creation while maintaining quality and service.
• Develop and execute global category plans, risk management, and supplier governance.
• Mentor teams, onboard talent, and build a best-in-class sourcing organisation.
• Lead negotiations with large suppliers and manage supplier relationships at senior levels.
• Collaborate with finance, R&D, and operations to align investments with strategy.
• Champion innovation, sustainability, and regulatory compliance in procurement.
