Job summary

Independent Recruiters is seeking a Global Sourcing Manager - Technology and Innovation (Temp) to develop and execute global sourcing strategies for large-scale CAPEX projects. You will lead complex negotiations, monitor supplier performance, and align procurement with business goals.

The role requires a degree, 8+ years in procurement, strong contract knowledge (UAV/NEC/FIDIC), and fluent English (Dutch a plus). The position is a temporary assignment via Independent Recruiters Groep.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of procurement, commercial management, contract law, supplier markets, and major CAPEX projects.
• Experience managing sourcing and contracting for large-scale industrial investment projects.
• Strong knowledge of Dutch and international contractor markets; UAV, NEC, and/or FIDIC contracts.
• Fluent English is required; Dutch language is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute global sourcing strategies to optimize costs and maximize value.
• Ensure procurement excellence, compliance, and alignment with business objectives.
• Lead high-complexity sourcing projects and commercial contract negotiations.
• Monitor and improve supplier performance across cost, quality, delivery, and service.
• Build strong partnerships with strategic suppliers and internal stakeholders to drive collaboration and innovation.
