Job summary

Independent Recruiters is seeking a Global Sourcing Manager - Technology and Innovation (Temp) to develop and execute global sourcing strategies for large-scale CAPEX projects. You will lead complex negotiations, monitor supplier performance, and align procurement with business goals.

The role requires a degree, 8+ years in procurement, strong contract knowledge (UAV/NEC/FIDIC), and fluent English (Dutch a plus). The position is a temporary assignment via Independent Recruiters Groep.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of procurement, commercial management, contract law, supplier markets, and major CAPEX projects.
• Experience managing sourcing and contracting for large-scale industrial investment projects.
• Strong knowledge of Dutch and international contractor markets; UAV, NEC, and/or FIDIC contracts.
• Fluent English is required; Dutch language is an advantage.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, or equivalent working and thinking level, preferably in Procurement, Commercial Management, Engineering, Construction, or Project Management;
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in procurement, commercial management, contract law, supplier markets, and major CAPEX projects;
• Proven experience managing sourcing and contracting activities for large-scale, complex industrial investment projects;
• Strong knowledge of Dutch and international contractor markets, including construction and engineering contracts such as UAV, NEC, and/or FIDIC;
• Strong commercial and analytical skills, with expertise in technical cost drivers, continuous improvement, and contract risk management;
• Fluent English is required; Dutch is an advantage.
