Job summary

JDE Peet's is seeking a Global Strategic Sourcing Manager for Paper Categories, responsible for developing and executing the sourcing strategy across a spend portfolio up to €250M. You will build strategic supplier relationships and drive cost savings while leading cross-functional teams across regions and functions.

The role requires 6+ years in procurement or strategic sourcing, with strong negotiation and contract experience, and an MBA or higher.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of relevant procurement or strategic sourcing experience.
• Experience developing and executing category strategies in a complex, global environment.
• Strong negotiation, contracting, and supplier relationship management skills.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence without direct authority.
• Comfortable working with ambiguity and thriving under pressure.
• Degree level education; MBA or further qualification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute robust global sourcing strategies for Paper Categories, delivering cost savings and managing supply and price risk.
• Build and manage strategic supplier relationships, positioning JDE Peet's as a customer of choice while driving continuous improvement.
• Identify and prioritise total cost of ownership savings opportunities and lead their implementation across the category.
• Manage supplier selection, negotiate and contract key suppliers, and ensure contract execution and compliance.
• Build a longer-term productivity pipeline to ensure continuous delivery against procurement targets.
• Monitor and benchmark category performance to ensure JDE maintains the most competitive cost base.
