As Global Strategic Sourcing Manager for selected Paper Categories, you'll own the sourcing strategy for a spend portfolio of up to €150M up to €250M, driving best‑in‑class cost and cash results across JDE Peet's global packaging categories. You'll sit within the Global Strategic Sourcing team, reporting to the Global Strategic Sourcing Director Packaging, and play a key role in building a world‑class procurement organisation. This is a role for someone who combines sharp commercial instincts with strong relationship‑building skills – working across regions, functions, and supplier networks to deliver real impact. You'll operate in a fast‑moving, complex environment where ambiguity is the norm and results are what count. If you're driven by finding value where others don't, this is the role for you.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute robust global sourcing strategies for Paper Categories, delivering cost savings and managing supply and price risk
• Build and manage strategic supplier relationships, positioning JDE Peet's as a customer of choice while driving continuous improvement
• Identify and prioritise total cost of ownership savings opportunities and lead their implementation across the category
• Manage supplier selection, negotiate and contract key suppliers, and ensure contract execution and compliance
• Build a longer‑term productivity pipeline to ensure continuous delivery against procurement targets
• Monitor and benchmark category performance to ensure JDE maintains the most competitive cost base

Qualifications

For this role as Global Strategic Sourcing Manager – Paper Categories, we're looking for someone who has the following skills and experience:

• 6+ years of relevant procurement or strategic sourcing experience, with a strong track record in delivering cost and cash results
• Experience developing and executing category strategies in a complex, global environment
• Strong negotiation, contracting, and supplier relationship management skills
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and influence without direct authority
• Comfortable working with ambiguity and thriving under pressure
• Degree level education; MBA or further qualification preferred
