As our new Global Sourcing Manager Indirect: Energy you will lead the procurement of utilities (indirect) within the Energy sub-category and generate reduction in the total cost of ownership of services. You will be working in a team of Sourcing Managers and Operational Buyers in this sub-category. The total spend under management is more than 80 M€/Year.

About the role

You will actively participate in the strategic sourcing activities for the Energy sub-category, with the goal of achieving cost reductions, while maintaining or improving service quality or vendor service levels. This means:

• Identify, evaluate & select suppliers, negotiate and close framework-agreements of Global & EU region services under the Energy sub-category;
• Drive product demand optimization throughout ICL via collaboration with the relevant ICL units;
• Maintain and develop in-depth knowledge of legislation, markets & trends of the Energy sub-category;
• Perform best-in-class negotiation processes via analysis of contract’s type, supply & demand trends;
• Establish and manage global/regional relationships with suppliers;
• Monitor performances of vendors and their compliance with their commitments;
• Address & solve operational issues with suppliers;
• Energy risks management during the year.

About you

For this rewarding but challenging position we need you to have a Master’s degree in a relevant field (Energy, Business) and bring at least 5 years of relevant work experience with a strong expertise in energy markets and legislation. Also, you will have

• Demonstrable track record of success in managing complex, cross-functional activities and developing/executing key procurement processes;
• Excellent command of English is required. Hebrew or any additional European language skills are desirable;
• Strong negotiation skills and result driven personality;
• Excellent interpersonal, business acumen, communication and supplier relations skills;
• Ability to work collaboratively, and in a matrix management style organization;
• Strategic thinker and pragmatic worker.

You will work from our EU HQ in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Working with a Hybrid model of 2 days work from home and 3 days from Office.
