Job summary

JDE Peet’s is seeking a Global Social & Culture Director to lead the social and cultural agenda for a €16 billion global business. You will define vision, governance, and transformation across markets and clusters, shaping social strategies, standards, and risk management.

The role requires 15+ years in global FMCG, with experience building high-performing, cross-functional teams and driving culture-driven growth. This is a high-visibility leadership position guiding brand relevance worldwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• 15+ years of leadership experience within global FMCG or consumer-focused organizations across social media, culture, communications, creator marketing, PR, or related brand-building disciplines.
• Proven experience leading complex social ecosystems across multiple markets, with governance and performance management.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration with Corporate Communications, Legal, Compliance, and senior stakeholders.
• Ability to establish standards, manage risk, and drive improvements in social effectiveness and brand relevance.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead the global social and culture vision, operating model, and transformation roadmap across markets, zones, and clusters.
• Own the global social strategy, including channel roles, editorial principles, and always-on engagement.
• Establish and govern enterprise-wide standards for social, creator, influencer, and cultural engagement, including risk mitigation.
• Lead the global BrewLab agenda, governance, and quality standards across marketing clusters.
• Drive the global social capability agenda through training and talent development.
• Monitor social and cultural performance, translating insights into governance actions.
