Job summary
Alfen is seeking a Site Manager ESS to act as the technical and operational lead on international project sites for large-scale energy storage systems. You will ensure safe, efficient delivery and adherence to planning, coordinating subcontractors and engaging with customers on site.
The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering or PM, 5+ years in energy storage or project execution, and willingness to travel internationally.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical/mechanical engineering or PM.
- ≥5 years experience in energy storage or project execution.
- Experience in international projects preferred.
- Excellent Dutch and English.
- Willingness to travel internationally.
- Structured, results-driven, communicative.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate activities on international ESS project locations.
- Monitor progress, quality, safety and technical execution.
- Manage and evaluate subcontractors, including work agreements and progress reporting.
- Ensure safety regulations and technical specifications compliance.
- Support customers on site and contribute to installation, testing and commissioning.
- Identify bottlenecks and contribute to process improvements.
- Ensure smooth, safe and timely execution of complex energy storage projects.
