Job summary

PUM is seeking a Programme Manager for Field Crops and Beekeeping in the Netherlands. You will lead the field crops and beekeeping programme, translate client requests into project proposals, and coordinate with in-country managers to match experts with client needs.

Requirements include a strong agribusiness network in the Netherlands, 10 years in relevant sectors, and experience in programme management and team leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's level, working and thinking level.
• 10+ years of professional experience in field crops and/or beekeeping.
• Strong agribusiness network in the Netherlands.
• Experience with SMEs and basic business processes.
• Experience coordinating programmes with volunteers is a plus.
• International experience in focus regions is advantageous.
• Demonstrated intercultural communication skills.
• Data-driven with focus on impact, quality and results.
• Fluency in Dutch, English and French; Spanish a plus.
• Available for 30 hours per week (0.8 FTE).

Responsibilities

• Assess project requests and match needs with expert skills with in-country managers.
• Translate client requests into actionable project proposals.
• Develop programme plans to strengthen sustainable agribusiness ecosystems and partnerships.
• Identify and secure funding from institutional donors, foundations, and corporate partners.
• Monitor programme developments and anticipate future demand.
• Grow a diverse, inclusive expert community and readiness of expertise.
• Coordinate project planning and map strategic partnerships.
• Ensure compliance with organisational policies and objectives.
