Job summary

Sovos is seeking a Pre-Sales Engineer to join our Sales Engineering team in the United Kingdom. You will act as a trusted advisor, conducting multi-country discovery, designing scalable tax/compliance solutions, and presenting the business value of Sovos platform offerings to enterprise customers.

You will lead deal-floors with Sales, deliver tailored demonstrations, and help position our solutions across ERP scenarios while collaborating with global teams. Occasional travel may be required.

• Balance business value with technical feasibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, multi-entity discovery sessions across global customers, mapping ERP landscapes and regulatory exposure.
• Design scalable, cross-border solution architectures aligned to business and compliance needs.
• Influence senior stakeholders and partner with Sales to shape account strategy and deals.
• Own technical responses for enterprise RFPs/RFIs and global tenders with tailored demos.
• Collaborate across functions to ensure smooth handoff from pre-sales to implementation.
• Contribute to pre-sales best practices, messaging, and competitive positioning.
