Job summary

Sovos is seeking a Pre-Sales Engineer to join its global sales engineering team. You will lead discovery sessions, design scalable cross-border solutions, and articulate the business value of Sovos’ tax and compliance technology to enterprise customers.

In this role you’ll influence senior decision-makers, craft tailored demonstrations, and collaborate with Sales to advance deals across multiple regions while maintaining high-quality demo environments.

Qualifications

Experience leading structured discovery sessions and mapping solutions with a commercial focus.
Experience navigating ERP ecosystems; exposure to tax, compliance, regulatory domains is advantageous.
Strong written and verbal English; willingness to travel occasionally.
Able to work autonomously with limited regional infrastructure and across time zones.

Responsibilities

Lead complex discovery sessions across global customer organisations and map ERP landscapes.
Design scalable, cross-border architectures aligned to business and compliance needs.
Influence senior stakeholders and collaborate with Sales to shape account strategy.
Own technical responses for RFPs, RFIs, and tenders with tailored demos.
Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure smooth transition from pre-sales to implementation.
Contribute to global pre-sales best practices and maintain demo environments.
Leverage AI tools to improve discovery workflows and personalisation of demonstrations.
