Job summary

The HEINEKEN Company is seeking a Global Category Manager Plastics to lead the global Plastics procurement strategy, covering PET resin, preforms, PSL and closures, with about €190M annual spend. You will drive end-to-end category management, supplier governance and value realisation across HEINEKEN’s global footprint.

Responsibilities include strategy refresh, complex negotiations, risk management, and cross-functional collaboration with Packaging Development, Innovation and Finance.

Qualifications

• 6–8+ years of progressive procurement or category management experience in FMCG/packaging or international environments.
• Proven experience leading global or multi-regional sourcing programmes and complex supplier negotiations.
• Strong experience in contract implementation and delivering measurable commercial and operational outcomes.
• Advanced knowledge of strategic category management, sourcing governance, risk management and negotiation strategies.
• Fluent in English; other languages a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own and refresh the global Plastics category strategy and multi-year roadmap.
• Lead high-value, cross-regional sourcing programmes and supplier negotiations.
• Build and govern an effective global supplier portfolio and SRM framework.
• Protect supply continuity with risk management and dual-sourcing strategies.
• Partner with Packaging Development, Innovation, Sustainability, Supply Chain and Finance.
