Job summary

Rituals is seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to lead international payroll delivery from Amsterdam. You will own payroll processing across multiple countries, ensuring accurate, on-time payments in line with local regulations and company policies.

You will collaborate with HR, Finance, external providers and internal controls, driving continuous improvements, automation, and scalability while maintaining high data quality and compliance. Fluency in Dutch and English is required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years payroll experience, preferably international
• Fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken
• Strong knowledge of payroll legislation and regulations
• Proficient in Excel and payroll systems; Workday is a plus

Responsibilities

• Coordinate payroll processing for multiple countries with external providers
• Ensure payrolls are processed accurately, on time and compliant with local regulations
• Review payroll data, reports, and deductions; resolve discrepancies
• Act as key contact for HR, Finance, providers and internal control teams
• Drive continuous improvement via automation, digitalisation and smarter processes
