Vestas is seeking an experienced Global Offshore Support Field Trainer to coach offshore service site technicians during service readiness and ramp-up, across regions, ensuring knowledge sharing and best practices across the value chain. The role includes mentoring teams, facilitating training on the V236 platform, and driving safety and efficiency from day one.

During the first year you will undergo technical training at Vestas training centres before assignment to new offshore sites worldwide.

Formación

• Electrical or mechanical degree from a technical school or university.
• Experience as a Field Trainer or similar is preferred.
• Authorised Technician status on V164/V174 or EnVentus platforms is required.
• Proficient written and spoken English.
• Valid full driver's license required.
• A background in wind energy is a plus.
• Ability to obtain work visas for global travel.

Responsabilidades

• Train and coach technicians on operation and maintenance of V236 15MW turbines, acting as a mentor and promoting OneVestas philosophy
• Serve as a key contact for lessons learned, providing feedback across the global value chain to drive continuous improvement
• Support site teams in following Vestas processes and best practices to ensure consistent, scalable offshore operations
• Assist with troubleshooting and fault diagnosis of electrical and mechanical systems, both on-site and remotely
• Deliver technical and operational training on the V236 platform, including onboarding and development of new technicians
• Improve operational efficiency by driving first-time fix rates, reducing service times, and monitoring performance using tools like Power BI
• Promote safety and operational excellence by coaching teams on Vestas Wind Turbine Safety Rules
