Philips is seeking a Category Sourcing Manager Ocean Freight to own global ocean freight strategy and drive end-to-end execution across regions. You will lead large sourcing initiatives, negotiate with shipping lines, and manage contracts while shaping supplier governance for performance and innovation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Procurement, Supply Chain or equivalent.
• Strong ocean freight knowledge and market understanding.
• Minimum 5 years of experience negotiating major commercial contracts.
• Ability to translate strategy into actionable execution and present to senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute global ocean freight category strategies.
• Lead sourcing programs, negotiations, and contract management with carriers and logistics providers.
• Maintain strategic supplier relationships and governance for performance and innovation.
• Monitor market dynamics, capacity trends, and cost drivers; identify risks and opportunities.
• Deliver value through cost optimization, process improvements, and network efficiencies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on initiatives including network optimization, sustainability, and NPI.
• Support supply chain resilience with proactive risk management and capacity planning.
• Act as trusted advisor to senior leadership on logistics market developments.
