Job summary

Forbo Flooring Systems in Assendelft, Netherlands, is looking for a NPR Strategic Sourcing Coordinator to coordinate the NPR sourcing programme and to act as the primary interface between Forbo and the external consulting partner. The role will evolve into a Procurement Category Manager for General Services across global sites.

You will lead governance, stakeholder engagement, and the S2P transformation, while driving RFQ support, negotiations, and cost improvements across multiple categories

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Procurement, or Business Administration.
• 3 to 5 years NPR procurement experience in sourcing project coordination or category management.
• Exposure to vendor base rationalization and TCO optimization initiatives.
• Negotiation, contract management, and supplier development skills.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to manage complex, high‑value projects.
• Fluent in English; Dutch preferred; travel globally ~20%.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the NPR sourcing programme portfolio, including planning, milestones, risks, and action tracking.
• Organize governance meetings, steering committees, and executive reporting.
• Act as the primary interface between Forbo and the consulting partner.
• Coordinate access to data, stakeholders, contracts, and supplier information.
• Monitor project deliverables, challenge recommendations, and ensure knowledge transfer to internal teams.
• Engage budget owners and functional leaders; lead workshops and align sourcing strategies.
• Support RFQs, supplier evaluations, negotiations, and contract implementation activities.
• Coordinate supplier onboarding and monitor compliance with negotiated agreements.
• Translate opportunities into measurable business benefits for General Services categories.
• Ensure accurate Savings and Performance tracking with Procurement Business Controller.
• Develop and implement global category strategies; focus on TCO optimization and supplier innovation.
• Lead vendor base rationalisation while safeguarding service continuity.
• Drive digital procurement transformation with AI-enabled tools; promote data‑driven decisions.
