Job summary

Framo Nederland is seeking an International Service Engineer (Electrical) to perform maintenance, troubleshooting, commissioning and repair on FRAMO pumping systems aboard vessels worldwide. You will work directly with customers, ensuring safety and reliability while upholding Framo's service standards.

Based in the Netherlands, you will start with port-based inspections in Amsterdam/Rotterdam/Antwerp and progress to global assignments.

Qualifications

• Technical education at MBO level, preferably in electrical engineering.
• Strong focus on service and customers.
• Interest in pumping systems and shipping.
• Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
• Willingness to travel worldwide and sail with vessels when required.
• Flexible schedule; weekends/holidays availability by arrangement.
• Positive, enthusiastic attitude; ability to work independently.
• Preferably based in South Holland (Zuid-Holland).

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, commissioning and service activities on marine equipment and FRAMO pumping systems.
• Prepare service jobs according to procedures and standards.
• Travel worldwide to vessels and customer locations.
• Diagnose electrical and control system faults and provide solutions.
• Ensure safety and compliance with requirements.
• Document findings and register hours and expenses.
• Obtain customer sign-off and maintain professional communication.
• Provide technical advice to customers and support internal improvements.
• Maintain product knowledge and technical competence.
