Job summary

Framo Nederland, part of Alfa Laval, seeks an International Service Engineer (Electrical) to maintain, troubleshoot, commission and repair FRAMO pumping systems on vessels worldwide. You will work directly with customers on board, ensuring safety, reliability and high service standards from Amsterdam ports.

Travel to vessels and shipyards is required; a technical MBO education and good English are essential.

Qualifications

• Technical education at MBO level, preferably in electrical engineering.
• Willingness to travel worldwide and sail with vessels.
• Good English, both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, commissioning and service on FRAMO pumping systems.
• Travel worldwide to vessels, shipyards and customer locations.
• Document service reports and log working hours and expenses.
• Provide technical advice and support to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure safety and compliance with requirements.
• Obtain customer sign-off and maintain professional communication throughout service assignments.
• Maintain up-to-date product knowledge and technical competence.
