Job summary

Nedstar is an Amsterdam-based international trading company specialised in food-grade products. As Logistics Manager you own end-to-end shipments, from deal confirmation to final delivery, coordinating freight, documentation and customs across sea and road.

You will work closely with traders, finance and commercial teams to optimize costs, ensure compliance and deliver reliable logistics as a competitive advantage.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of experience in international logistics with cross-functional exposure.
• Strong knowledge of sea freight; road experience is a plus.
• Education: HBO Logistics/Supply Chain or university degree.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end shipment process for every trade, from deal confirmation to final delivery.
• Coordinate loading schedules and container readiness with suppliers.
• Book and manage freight across sea and road modes.
• Track shipments and proactively flag delays or issues before escalation.
• Manage documentation and customs declarations for each shipment.
• Negotiate freight rates and benchmark against the market.
