First Impression is seeking a Global Key Account Manager for Retail to sustain and grow our largest international retail accounts. You will identify opportunities, connect stakeholders across functions, and ensure we remain at the table for every next step.

You will work with global brands and major retailers, travel internationally when needed, and lead account plans, forecasts, and sales data to drive commercial growth.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in strategic account management, business development, or consulting sales.
• Experience with international retail organizations and multi-country stakeholders.
• Proven track record of building long-term customer relationships and driving growth.
• Ability to interact with operational, strategic, and executive levels.
• Skilled in commercial negotiations involving large-scale projects.
• Experience with account plans, forecasts, and sales data.

You’ll identify opportunities, connect people, and ensure that First Impression is at the table for every next step.

As a Global Key Account Manager for Retail, you’ll be responsible for some of our most important international retail clients. The relationship is already in place, it’s up to you to build on it.

You know what your customers are dealing with, where they want to go, and how First Impression can help them achieve their goals. Sometimes this involves expanding into new countries or locations, other times, it involves new applications within existing stores or opportunities in the areas of digital signage and retail media.

One day you’re sitting down with a client to discuss plans for the coming year; the next, you’re coordinating internally with Solution Design, Project Management, Service, or Creative to move a new opportunity forward. In doing so, you easily switch between day-to-day contacts and decision-makers at the executive level.

You’re also in the lead when it comes to business. You keep a close eye on revenue, margins, forecasts, and customer satisfaction, and you make sure opportunities aren’t left on the table.

Ultimately, it all comes down to one thing: ensuring that customers continue to involve First Impression as a valuable partner in their plans time and time again.

It’s all about (your) experience

For this role, we’re looking for someone who can think strategically and deliver commercial results. You navigate large organizations with ease and thrive on building long-term customer relationships.

You can relate to this:

• At least 5 years of experience in strategic account management, business development, or consulting sales.
• Experience with international retail organizations and the dynamics of multiple countries, locations, and stakeholders.
• A proven track record of building long-term customer relationships and driving commercial growth within existing accounts.
• You can easily interact with people at the operational, strategic, and executive levels.
• Skilled in commercial negotiations involving complex and large-scale projects.
• Experience with account plans, forecasts, and sales data to help plan for the future.
• Curious about developments among customers and within the retail market, and able to translate these into new opportunities.
• A true team player who enjoys collaborating with people from different disciplines.
• Excellent command of Dutch and English. Knowledge of an additional language is a plus.
• An interest in audiovisual technology, digital signage, retail media, customer experience, or digital transformation.
• Willingness to travel internationally when necessary.
