Job summary

JDE Peet's in the Netherlands seeks a Global Strategic Sourcing Manager for IT to own the sourcing strategy for a spend portfolio of up to €100M. You will develop and execute robust IT category strategies and build strong supplier relationships in a complex global matrix.

Reporting to the Global Strategic Sourcing Director, you will lead negotiations, drive cost savings, and ensure contract execution while aligning with business priorities and technology roadmaps.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of strategic sourcing and procurement experience in IT or technology categories.
• Experience managing global technology suppliers and enterprise-level agreements.
• Strong analytical skills, commercial curiosity, and ability to challenge stakeholders.
• Track record of delivering cost and cash results in a global environment.
• Experience developing category strategies and leading cross-functional teams.
• Understanding of technology supplier business models and licensing structures.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic category planning across IT spend areas (software, cloud, infra, digital, data, cybersecurity, telecom, and IT services).
• Serve as trusted advisor to IT, Digital, Security, and Finance stakeholders with market insights and supplier intelligence.
• Identify and implement total cost of ownership savings opportunities.
• Lead complex negotiations with global technology suppliers including software vendors, cloud providers, SI partners, and outsourcing.
• Build and manage strategic supplier relationships and ensure contract execution and compliance.
• Develop a long-term productivity pipeline to meet procurement targets.
• Oversee risk management and ensure policy compliance.
• Monitor technology market trends and emerging practices to shape strategies.
