Job summary

JDE Peet's is seeking a Global Strategic Sourcing Manager for IT to own the sourcing strategy for a €100M spend portfolio and drive best-in-class cost and cash results.

Reporting to the Global Strategic Sourcing Director Business Services, you'll lead category planning across software, cloud, and IT services, build supplier relationships, and negotiate enterprise agreements in a complex global matrix.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of strategic sourcing and procurement experience in IT or technology categories.
• Extensive experience managing complex global technology suppliers and negotiating enterprise-level agreements across IT categories.
• Strong analytical capability and business acumen with ability to challenge suppliers and stakeholders.
• Track record delivering cost and cash results in a complex, global environment.
• Experience developing and executing category strategies and leading cross-functional teams.
• Understanding of technology supplier business models, licensing structures, and market trends.
• Excellent project management, negotiation, contracting, and supplier relationship management skills.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and thriving under pressure.
• MBA or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic category planning across IT spend areas (software, cloud, infrastructure, services).
• Advise senior IT, Digital, Security and Finance stakeholders with market insights and negotiation strategies.
• Identify TCO savings opportunities and drive implementation.
• Lead complex negotiations with global technology suppliers and ecosystem partners.
• Build and manage strategic supplier relationships, ensure contract execution and compliance.
• Develop a longer-term productivity pipeline to meet procurement targets.
• Oversee risk management and ensure policy compliance.
• Monitor technology market developments to shape sourcing strategies.
