Job summary

JDE Peet's is seeking a Global Strategic Sourcing Manager for IT to own the sourcing strategy for a spend portfolio up to €100M, delivering cost and cash results across the IT category. The role reports to the Global Strategic Sourcing Director, Business Services, and requires sharp commercial instincts in a global matrix environment.

You will lead category planning across software, cloud, infrastructure, and IT services, build strong supplier relationships, and negotiate enterprise agreements.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in strategic sourcing/procurement in IT or technology categories
• Experience managing global technology suppliers and negotiating enterprise agreements
• Strong analytical capability and commercial curiosity
• Proven track record delivering cost and cash results in a global environment
• Experience leading category strategies and cross-functional teams
• Knowledge of technology supplier business models and licensing structures
• MBA or higher preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic category planning across IT spend areas (software, cloud, infrastructure, digital, data, cybersecurity, telecom, IT services)
• Advise senior IT, Digital, Security, and Finance stakeholders with market insights and negotiation strategies
• Identify and prioritize total cost of ownership savings opportunities and lead implementation
• Lead complex negotiations with global technology suppliers (enterprise software, cloud, system integrators)
• Build and manage strategic supplier relationships and ensure contract execution and compliance
• Oversee risk management and ensure compliance with internal policies
• Monitor technology market developments to shape sourcing strategies
