Job summary

g2 Recruitment is seeking a proactive HR Generalist to support financial, general HR and administration activities in Rotterdam. You will work closely with the Managing Director to ensure compliance with Dutch employment laws and foster an inclusive, positive work environment for international staff.

The role offers broad exposure to global HR projects, recruitment, onboarding, payroll coordination, and employee relations across international teams.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with cultural awareness.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; German is beneficial.
• Minimum 3 years HR Generalist experience; international experience is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of Dutch employment law; international knowledge is an advantage.
• Proficient in MS Office; payroll system experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead international HR projects and provide monthly HR reporting.
• Coordinate engagement surveys, performance reviews, and external training.
• Coordinate international recruitment, liaise with agencies, manage offers, onboarding and offboarding.
• Coordinate incoming and outgoing invoices.
• Manage sickness processes in the Netherlands and support employee engagement initiatives.
• Monitor and develop international compensation and benefits programs.
• Update HR policies to align with local laws and global standards.
