Webfleet in Amsterdam is seeking an HR & Payroll Specialist for a 1-year contract to join the People Operations and Payroll team. You will handle HR administration, on/offboarding, and payroll coordination across Germany, South Africa and another European country, ensuring data quality and stakeholder service.

You will work with Excel and AI tools, communicate across cultures, and contribute to continuous improvement of processes.

Qualifications

• Experience in HR/payroll administration in international environments.
• Knowledge of European labour law and payroll basics.
• Ability to prioritize and structure work on projects.
• Strong communication, client focus and collaboration.
• Proficiency in English and German (spoken and written).
• Analytical mindset with continuous improvement focus.
• Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with AI tools like Copilot and Claude.

Responsibilities

• Execute HR administration including on/offboarding and data changes.
• Coordinate monthly payroll with external provider for timely processing.
• Serve as first point of contact for employees across multiple countries.
• Update HR systems accurately and provide stakeholder reports.
• Drive process improvements with AI-driven solutions and automation.
