Job summary

Octagon Professionals International in The Hague seeks an experienced HR Manager to lead HR operations, international mobility, and a four-person HR team. You will own the full employee lifecycle and serve as the primary HR contact for key clients across Europe, ensuring compliant processes and high service quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in HR Operations/Shared Services or HR Management.
• Strong knowledge of Dutch employment law.
• Experience with immigration, visas and 30% ruling.
• Experience supporting international HR operations across multiple countries.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive, solution-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end onboarding and offboarding processes.
• Prepare and maintain employment contracts, amendments and HR records.
• Ensure compliance with policies and labour laws; coordinate with legal on employee relations.
• Serve as primary HR point of contact for key accounts (e.g., ESA, Huawei).
• Coordinate and deliver HR projects for clients; drive process improvements.
• Manage visa applications, work permits and 30% ruling processes.
• Provide HR operational support to Italy, France, Germany, and the UK.
• Lead and develop a team of four HR professionals; manage workload and delivery.
• Oversee time registration and HR reporting.
