Job summary

Premier Tech Systems and Automation in the Netherlands seeks an Inside Sales Engineer to bridge customers, sales and engineering, turning ideas into solid, technically and commercially convincing proposals. You will analyze requests, develop solutions with standard equipment, and prepare layouts with a layout engineer.

You’ll provide cost estimates, review sales strategies, and support the team with reports and promotional events.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills in French and English.
• A technical degree or relevant technical experience.
• Familiarity with CAD systems – AutoCAD or SolidEdge 3D.
• Knowledge of industrial operations and processes – both technical and commercial.
• Experience in the packaging and/or processing industry is an asset.
• Experience preparing budgets and commercial offers.
• A team-oriented, customer-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer requests from the sales team, ensuring the needs are clear.
• Develop solutions that meet customer requirements, integrating standard equipment – in collaboration with the sales manager and the customer.
• Prepare a conceptual layout together with a layout engineer.
• Provide cost estimations and information on equipment, options and configurations.
• Review sales strategies by identifying competitors, mapping new practices and suggesting improvements.
• Prepare documentation required for project start-ups.
• Support the sales team by creating reports, updating statistics and contributing to the organization of promotional events.
