Job summary

Kraft Heinz invites a motivated Bachelor or Master student to join as Capex Finance Analyst intern in Amsterdam. You will generate reports, assist in financial reporting, and analyze data to support monthly closes and forecasting.

You’ll work in a hybrid setup with an emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint, and opportunities to use Tableau/Power BI. EU working rights required, program starts January 2026.

Qualifications

  • You are enrolled at a European university for the entire duration of the internship.
  • You are at the end of your bachelor, or in your master’s degree: Finance/ Accounting/ Economics/ Engineering / Supply Chain / Computer Science / Econometrics / Mathematics.
  • EU working rights are required (Either EU Citizenship, or you are studying in the Netherlands). Kraft Heinz does NOT provide a working Visa.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine financial reporting and ad‑hoc analyses for the Capex finance function.
  • Prepare and present monthly performance and forecast slides.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting of Capex with cross‑functional teams.
  • Assist with data availability, validation and monthly close activities.
  • Provide financial analysis and scenario modelling for decision making.

Summary

As a Capex Finance Analyst you will assist in managing finance processes the Global entity overseeing all Zones, providing information and guidance on various financial rituals and routines, monthly performance reviews, financial reviews, and forecasting. You will also support ad‑hoc requests and analysis, ensure data availability and accessibility, and own HFM inputs for World Headquarters. Additionally, you will be the point of contact for the Capex management tool.

Key responsibilities
  • Perform routine tasks including maintaining of Forecast file for the monthly, quarterly, and annual business cycles for the reporting and analysis of the business;
  • Compiling and preparing presentation slides for monthly performance and forecast reviews;
  • Preparing and submitting monthly requests from Global entity.
  • Align the monthly closing comparing with source of truth.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting of Capex - Work with Analysts across the business and throughout the budget/forecast process.
  • Provide ongoing financial support and analysis to Head of SCF and Capex lead as well as executives in Global entity - Provide key financial analysis for decision making; Modelling and scenario building; Provide Capex analysis and other regular reporting decks; Provide support on ad hoc analyses
  • Identify areas of improvement of key business processes and drive changes to processes as required - Make recommendations and drive through for results that improve the business processes and free up resources
  • Position yourself as the Capex management tool point of contact to help IT team drive the right enhancements
  • Uphold the Kraft Heinz values and to work in a way that contributes to the company’s vision

About you excel (both analyzing data with pivots/lookups, and creating excel templates for users to complete) Power Point skills. Preferred (not mandatory): Tableau, Power BI. Able to read, write and communicate in English language Effective communication within the team and among various stakeholders.

Qualifications
  • • You are enrolled at a European university for the entire duration of the internship.
  • • You are at the end of your bachelor, or in your master’s degree: Finance/ Accounting/ Economics/ Engineering / Supply Chain / Computer Science / Econometrics / Mathematics.
  • • You have good knowledge of the English language, both written and spoken.
  • • NOTE: EU working rights are required (Either you have an EU Citizenship, or you are studying in the Netherlands). Kraft Heinz does NOT provide a working Visa.

Program Details

Program start date: January 2026. Duration: 6 months. Allowance: 625 euro per month (40hrs, 5 days) & full reimbursement of travel expenses. Location: Amsterdam. This is a hybrid position, you will need to be based in the Netherlands for the entire duration of the internship. Hybrid Policy: Kraft Heinz has recently transitioned to a hybrid way of working, which means that we work 60% of the week in the office and have the right to work 40% from home.
