Job summary

Kraft Heinz Company in Amsterdam is offering a proactive internship to support the Global CAPEX Excellence pillar, focusing on project management practices for capital investments across more than 50 sites worldwide. Qualifications

  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Interest in or fundamental knowledge of E2 project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Active extracurricular or international involvement showing leadership and teamwork (university clubs, student associations, Erasmus, Work & Travel).
  • Self-starter with a strong interest in leading or contributing to digital projects.
  • You are enrolled at a university for the entire internship duration.
  • EU working rights required; Kraft Heinz does not provide a working permit for this internship.

  • Financial Reporting: Develop and maintain financial reports to support project tracking and decision-making.
  • Digitalization Support: Contribute to the digital transformation of PMO processes by identifying automation opportunities and supporting tool implementation.
  • CAPEX Zone Lead Support Aid: Assist zone leads in managing PMO platforms and tracking capital expenditures.
  • General PMO Support: Maintain project documentation and participate in governance and audits.
  • Support to Engineering Team: Provide administrative and analytical support to the engineering team.

We are looking for a proactive individual to support the Global CAPEX Excellence pillar, which focuses on implementing and standardizing best practices in project management for capital investments across more than 50 sites worldwide. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of Project Management, the FEL (Front-End Loading) process. A strong interest in developing visual, user-friendly tools to track and enhance CAPEX process performance is essential, enabling data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting: Develop and maintain financial reports to support project tracking and decision-making. Assist in budget monitoring, variance analysis, and forecasting. Ensure accuracy and consistency in financial data across PMO platforms.
  • Digitalization Support: Contribute to the digital transformation of PMO processes by identifying automation opportunities. Assist in the implementation and testing of digital tools and platforms. Support data migration, dashboard creation, and process optimization initiatives.
  • CAPEX Zone Lead Support Aid: CAPEX zone leads in managing and updating PMO platforms. Ensure timely and accurate input of project data and milestones. Help track capital expenditure projects and maintain alignment with global standards.
  • General PMO Support: Maintain project documentation and ensure compliance with PMO governance. Participate in team meetings, prepare presentations, and contribute to knowledge sharing. Support internal audits and reporting cycles as needed.
  • Support to Engineering Team: Perform ad hoc tasks and provide administrative or analytical support as requested by the engineering team. Assist in documentation, meeting coordination, and follow-up on action items.

Program details

Program start date: February 2026. Duration: 6 – 6,5 months. Allowance: 625 euro per month (40hrs, 5 days) & full reimbursement of travel expenses. Location: Amsterdam. This is a hybrid position, you will need to be based in the Netherlands for the entire duration of the internship.
