Job summary

AIT Worldwide Logistics seeks a Supervisor Export to lead the export team, manage day-to-day performance, and develop the Export service. You will coordinate with service providers and vendors to book shipments and ensure timely transfers from warehouses to final destinations.

The role includes supporting management and sales in maintaining client relationships, contributing to tenders and cost calculations, onboarding new clients, and monitoring KPI milestones and billing.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years experience leading a team or in a senior role.
• 3-5 years freight forwarding/logistics experience with high value commodities.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism along with discretion with all information.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical support to the management team, covering during absences.
• Distribute day-to-day workload across the team and monitor progress.
• Assist in escalations and resolve issues arising for smooth operations.
• Organize monthly team meetings and track action points for management.
• Develop and implement process improvements, standardization and documentation.
• Ensure timely email replies and fast response times.
• Report any issues to the Manager/BM and keep stakeholders informed.
• Oversee KPI, milestones and task levels; monitor on-time billing and station KPIs.
• Participate in interview and onboarding of new teammates, and off-boarding as needed.
• Support sales and tenders, and help onboarding of new clients.
