Job summary

FrieslandCampina is seeking a risk manager to drive enterprise risk management across our global organization. You will connect external developments, business risks and strategic priorities to provide leaders with insights for risk-informed decisions.

You will facilitate risk assessments with Business Groups and Operating Companies, discuss emerging geopolitical risk with senior leaders, and analyze how market, regulation or sustainability developments could affect the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Risk Management or related field; 5+ years' experience in corporate or consulting.
• Knowledge of risk management principles, including ERM frameworks, governance, policies and regulatory requirements.
• Strong analytical skills with understanding of business processes and geopolitical developments.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and cross-cultural collaboration abilities.
• Proven ability to manage projects and propose practical solutions to complex issues.
• High integrity, accuracy, attention to detail and calm under pressure.
• Proactive, results-oriented with a curious mindset and constructive skepticism.
• Team player, open to feedback and able to challenge appropriately across functions.

Responsibilities

• Facilitating Enterprise Risk Assessments across the organization.
• Conducting continuous risk dialogues with senior leaders and risk owners
• Identifying and assessing emerging risks.
• Developing scenarios translating uncertainty into business impacts
• Advising on risk exposure, risk appetite and treatments.
• Monitoring risk indicators, trends and progress of risk treatments.
• Preparing risk reports for senior management and committees.
• Maintaining ERM administration and integrity of risk data.
• Improving ERM methodologies, policies, dashboards and reporting.
• Promoting a risk culture where risks are openly discussed in decision-making.
