Job summary

Danone is seeking a senior professional to lead the commodity risk strategy and execution on a global scale. You will manage significant exposure, develop hedging strategies and partner with finance, procurement and external partners to strengthen risk management across the business.

You will report to the Finance Director of Milk and MRM and oversee a team of one commodity risk manager. The role requires deep knowledge of markets, strong communication and experience with hedging tools and IFRS9

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of procurement or trading environments.
• Experience analysing global commodity markets and risk strategies.
• Strong communication and networking with internal and external stakeholders.
• Team-oriented, reliable and proactive.

Responsibilities

• Lead commodity risk strategy and execution for Danone.
• Analyse market trends and develop hedging coverage for risk teams.
• Coordinate hedging execution with banks and procurement teams.
• Monitor hedging performance and ensure IFRS9 compliance and policy adherence.
• Educate the business on risk management practices across functions.
