Job summary
Danone is seeking a Commodity Market Analyst to monitor and analyze Plastics, Diesel, Gas and Power markets, delivering insights that drive cost management and strategic decisions. You will develop price forecasts and support procurement, finance and risk management workflows in a hybrid work setting.
The role emphasizes market intelligence, data translation, and collaboration with stakeholders across Danone’s Global Market Intelligence team to enable informed business decisions and digital tool
Qualifications
- Master’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field such as Economics, Finance, Engineering or Supply Chain.
- Experience in commodity market analysis, procurement, financial analysis, or market risk management.
- Experience with plastics, petrochemicals, energy, or related commodities is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Perform fundamental analysis of Plastics, Diesel, Gas & Power markets and monitor related trends.
- Develop commodity price forecasts to support budgets and strategic planning.
- Collaborate with Risk Managers and Buyers to support market risk management and coverage strategies.
- Engage with Procurement, Finance, Controlling and external consultants to communicate market developments.
- Develop and improve dashboards and analytic tools using Power BI and Excel.
