Job summary

BSI is seeking Head of Artificial Intelligence Global Quality & Accreditation to lead regulatory designation activities for AI in the EU and beyond. You will guide processes ensuring staff compliance with EU AI Regulation and Notified Body accreditation, while collaborating with GRC and development teams across international programs.

The role requires strategic leadership across global teams, establishing qualification criteria, mentoring staff, and driving continuous improvement in regulatory

Responsibilities

• Lead the Designation activity to obtain AI Notified Body Status within the EU in the targeted areas and lead on regulatory issues, both internal and external.
• Lead the development and implementation of the necessary processes and procedures that enable staff to comply with the EU AI Regulation and associated Notified Body designation and accreditation requirements.
• Work with the GRC Professional Development team to establish qualification criteria for all roles.
• Lead your team to ensure staff comply with the new AI NB’s processes and procedures working with the GRC Professional Development group.
• Lead your team in providing expert regulatory support for the wider team (Group) and to customers.
• Mentor and Support NL Team with Designating Authority (TBC).
• Support the UK Approved Body and other International Regulatory programs.
• Identify the opportunities for business process improvement.
