At NXP Semiconductors, innovation and technology are at the heart of everything we do. We are currently looking for an experienced AI Governance Specialist to join the Data & AI Governance team and help shape responsible, compliant, and scalable AI adoption across a global enterprise environment.

In this role, you will support the development and implementation of governance mechanisms that balance AI innovation, compliance, risk management, and responsible AI practices. You will collaborate closely with international stakeholders across technology, legal, governance, and business functions to ensure AI is deployed in a structured, ethical, and future‑proof manner.

What will you be doing?

As an AI Governance Specialist, you will play a key role in building and strengthening enterprise-wide AI governance capabilities.

Your responsibilities include:

• Supporting the development of best-in‑class AI governance processes, policies, awareness, and standards
• Developing and implementing AI governance frameworks, policies, and best practices
• Conducting AI risk assessments covering ethical, legal, reputational, and compliance considerations
• Monitoring emerging AI regulations, standards, and compliance requirements
• Collaborating with global stakeholders across Data, Technology, IT, Legal, Government Affairs, and AI Centers of Expertise
• Promoting responsible, ethical, and compliant AI adoption throughout the organization
• Supporting AI governance initiatives such as responsible AI development, AI opportunity management, and compliance frameworks

• Familiarity with evolving AI regulations, standards, and governance frameworks
• Strong analytical and process improvement capabilities
• Experience working with cross‑functional stakeholders in complex environments
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English
