Job summary
Orbital Eye is seeking an Earth Observation & Geospatial Data Analyst to join the Operations team. You will tailor COSMIC-EYE configurations to customer networks, analyze satellite imagery, and translate needs into robust, actionable monitoring workflows.
You’ll work with GIS data, maps, and reporting requirements, coordinating with Success, Product, and AI teams to deliver tangible value across Europe and beyond.
Qualifications
- Degree in Geography, GIS, Remote Sensing, Earth Observation, Geomatics, Environmental Sciences, or related field.
- Experience with geospatial data, GIS software, satellite imagery, infrastructure data, or operational mapping workflows.
- Proactive project management interest is a plus.
- Excellent written and spoken English; additional European languages are a plus.
Responsibilities
- Support deployment of COSMIC-EYE for new and existing customers.
- Work with customer-specific maps, routes, monitoring zones, and reporting requirements.
- Translate customer needs into practical monitoring configurations and workflows.
- Analyze satellite imagery and geospatial data to support customer operations.
- Validate and enrich detections to ensure accurate, relevant reports.
- Collaborate with Success, Operations, Product, and AI teams to improve outcomes.
- Assist onboarding, implementation, and continuous improvement of monitoring services.
- Option to focus on project setup coordination or product/ops development for automation and efficiency.
