Job summary

Orbital Eye is seeking an EO Data Supply Manager to ensure analysts and customers receive the right satellite imagery on time and at the right quality. You will join the Service Delivery team and collaborate closely with Product and Technology to operate, improve, and scale our supply system.

The role focuses on data supply, supplier relationships, and cost-aware data acquisition, with a hands-on start and growth into broader ownership of EO data supply and supplier contracts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in data operations and supply, GIS, remote sensing, or related field.
• Hands-on experience in Earth Observation projects is an advantage.
• An engineering or software background is a plus.
• Comfortable leveraging AI tools to get work done efficiently and to improve existing processes.
• Strong organizational skills with multiple suppliers, requests, and delivery timelines.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer and project needs into clear data requirements and coordinate imagery acquisition with suppliers.
• Monitor data availability and delivery, select sources based on timing, coverage, quality, and cost; proactively resolve issues.
• Manage relationships with data suppliers and act as the main point of contact for operational matters.
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers to improve capabilities and reduce supply risk.
• Own and continuously improve supply tracking, automation, dashboards, and workflows to scale data acquisition.
