Job summary

Signify is seeking a Functional Engineer (Pricing) to join the Lead to Order (L2O) team in turning User Stories into robust technology solutions. You will act as a trusted IT advisor to business Product Owners, ensuring high-quality, scalable pricing functionality across products.

You will translate business requirements to technical solutions, define functional and non-functional requirements, and own tests, training, and incident handling within SLA.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in technology (or equivalent).
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with SAP SD pricing and Vistex.
• Experience in business process modeling, analyses and redesign in the L2O domain.
• Fluent in English with strong consultancy and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into functioning solutions for the L2O domain (User Stories to tech).
• Oversee overall functionality, quality, performance and security of the products.
• Design tests and test plans for prototypes and products.
• Develop and provide required user training.
• Analyze problems and ensure incidents are resolved within SLA.

As a Functional Engineer (Pricing), you’ll be responsible for providing functional and technical expertise to the Lead to Order (L2O) team for turning User Stories into working technology solutions to achieve the required business outcome.

You’ll act as a sparring partner and trusted advisor from IT to business Product Owners. Delivering highly qualitative solutions must be in your DNA!

• You’ll communicate, translate and simplify business requirements (in e.g. User Stories) to ensure buy-in from all stakeholders.
• You’ll be responsible for the overall functionality, quality, performance and security of the Products in scope.
• You’ll design tests and test plans for prototypes and Products.
• You’ll develop and provide required user training.
• You’ll analyse problems and make sure that incidents are solved within the SLA and to the satisfaction of the user.

More about you

• You’ve a master’s degree in technology (or equivalent).

• You’ve experience in defining functional and non-functional solution requirements.
• You’ve experience in implementation and integration of global IT solutions in SAP SD pricing and Vistex.
• You’re fluent in English and you have excellent consultancy and communication skills.
