As Product Manager Horticultural Lighting Solutions, you will own a strategically critical product category within our global LED luminaire portfolio—one that is central to our long‑term growth ambitions. You carry full lifecycle responsibility, translating market dynamics, customer needs, and competitive intelligence into clear product strategies that drive revenue, margin, and market leadership.

Operating in a fast‑evolving and highly competitive segment, you bring a strong commercial mindset and entrepreneurial leadership style. You define and execute differentiated value propositions, steer investment and roadmap decisions, and balance innovation leadership with cost and performance targets. Your decisions directly influence commercial success and customer adoption at scale.

Partnering closely with sales, marketing and R&D, you act as a senior voice of the market and customer. Your focus is on delivering measurable business impact for growers—helping them optimize operations, reduce risk, and strengthen their economics.

This is a global, senior role with high visibility across the organization, offering the opportunity to shape strategy at scale and engage directly with key customers and markets worldwide. International travel to our core business regions is an integral part of the position.

What You’ll Do

• Shape and execute a multi‑year product roadmap grounded in deep customer and market understanding, translating grower needs, use cases, and pain points into compelling value propositions and robust business cases that drive adoption, growth, and profitability.
• Act as the senior voice of the customer throughout the end‑to‑end New Product Development & Launch (NPDL) process, ensuring customer insights consistently inform product decisions, prioritization, and trade‑offs, resulting in on‑time delivery of market‑ready solutions.
• Lead market introduction and lifecycle management strategies—including positioning, pricing, and phase‑in/phase‑out—designed to maximize customer value and commercial impact, in close alignment with peers across the product management organization.

Your Qualifications

• You are an experienced Product Manager with 8‑10 years of experience and with a strong track record of compelling value propositions, based on deep outside‑in customer insights and successfully translating these into commercial product strategies.
• You know how to run a new product development cycle including market introduction as a product manager.
• Experience in the horticulture domain is a strong plus, both in technical understanding as well as application knowledge.
• Fluent Dutch language skills to at least C1 level, so you can confidently engage in strategic customer discussions within the key Dutch market.
• You are creative and have a ‘shaper’ mentality, always on the lookout for new business opportunities in your field of expertise and are quick to assess business potential.
• Technology background to be able to act as sparring partner in the development of solutions.
• You are a strategic thinker with ability to convert strategy into tangible propositions including ensuring clear business models and proof points. You should be able to explain how we create the business and how we secure a competitive advantage.
