Job summary

I&L Biosystems GmbH is seeking a Functional Application Manager to serve as the internal specialist for business applications and system-supported processes. You will work with Finance, Customer Service, Sales and Management to ensure our systems support the business effectively, reporting to the CFO.

You will have a strong focus on Exact Globe while also working with Power BI, Synergy and Lucanet. This role combines functional application management with process improvement, vendor management

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of relevant experience as Functional Application Manager or similar role.
• Strong hands-on experience with Exact Globe ERP.
• Experience with Power BI and Synergy, Lucanet or comparable reporting tools.
• Experience with business process improvement, system implementations, upgrades or integrations.
• Experience managing software vendors, support desks and external consultants.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder-management skills.
• Professional command of English; Dutch is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Act as the internal specialist for business applications and system-supported processes.
• Understand and improve end-to-end business processes across the organisation.
• Translate business needs into functional requirements and system solutions.
• Analyse issues, identify root causes and drive resolution.
• Manage the functional relationship with Exact Globe and coordinate enhancements, integrations, upgrades and complex incidents.
• Support Power BI, Synergy, Lucanet and other reporting/workflow solutions.
• Manage software vendors, consultants, contracts, licences and support agreements.
• Help further develop Power BI reporting, dashboards and management information.
• Improve data quality, reporting automation and accessibility.
• Work with the CFO and CEO on AI policy, governance and implementation.
• Identify and implement AI opportunities to improve productivity.
• Continuously identify opportunities to simplify, standardise and automate processes.
• Support colleagues in adopting new systems, functionality and ways of working.
