B Futurist is transforming how technology and AI are used across the business. This role owns the technology built and bought outside our ERP, setting the direction, shaping the solution, and ensuring delivery aligns with our standards.

You will lead external partner projects, review architectures, build internal tools, and set a pragmatic AI framework. The role blends hands‑on coding, architecture, and cross‑team enablement across Trading, Finance and Operations.

Qualifications

• Strong backend or full‑stack background with applications you built, deployed and supported.
• Proficient in Python/TypeScript, SQL, APIs and authentication, with cloud deployment, Git, tests and monitoring experience.
• Hands‑on experience delivering LLM apps with Claude or similar models, including tool calling and data privacy considerations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical side of partner projects outside our ERP, shaping solutions and reviewing architecture and code.
• Challenge AI approaches inside the ERP, including data handling and cost considerations.
• Build internal tools and automations around Odoo, Google Workspace and Slack, partnering with the Odoo Developer.
• Decide what to build vs. buy, performing technical due diligence on potential software.
• Define how AI is used across the business, including data flows and risk controls.
• Turn experiments into robust, secure, reusable systems and enable other teams to work with AI.
• Work closely with teams across Trading, Supply Chain, Finance, People & Culture and Operations.
• Ship, monitor, and continuously improve deliverables.
