Job summary

Trustoo in Amsterdam is seeking a product-minded Full Stack Developer to join our Marketplace Squad. You’ll build fast, intuitive consumer experiences with React.js and Next.js, connect frontend to PHP/CakePHP backends, and help shape product decisions with data and user insight.

You’ll own features end-to-end, collaborate with Product, Design and Data, and explore AI-assisted development to accelerate delivery.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional frontend or full-stack development experience.
• Strong JavaScript and React.js skills, preferably with Next.js experience.
• Experience with backend systems and APIs; PHP/CakePHP is a plus.
• Strong product intuition and genuine interest in business growth.
• Curiosity about conversion, experimentation and user behaviour.
• Proactive mindset: ask questions, suggest improvements and take ownership.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor or Claude.
• Interest in AI agents and automation.

Today, Trustoo connects consumers with more than 300,000 local businesses across the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium and Spain. Our team of 80+ colleagues is continuously improving and scaling the platform.

Your role

As a Full Stack Developer in our Marketplace Squad, you'll improve the consumer journey, from finding and comparing professionals to submitting requests and connecting with the right provider.

We're not looking for someone who just builds tickets. We want someone who thinks along about what we should build and why.

You'll work closely with Product, Design and Data to identify opportunities, challenge assumptions and turn business problems into effective solutions.
