Job description

Can you translate complex processes into simple interfaces?

At Recranet, we are building the future of tourism, recreation, and hospitality. With Recranet Booking, our channel manager, websites, online marketing, and Recranet Real Estate, we help holiday parks, campsites, rental organizations, and other tourist businesses grow, automate, and achieve more bookings.

Our reservation system is used daily by thousands of professionals and hundreds of thousands of guests. That's why we're looking not just for a developer who builds screens, but especially someone who understands how users work, think, and make decisions.

From the Verano UI Library to the CMS, the Recranet Dashboard, and our reservation software: you help determine how our users work with Recranet on a daily basis.

Are you an experienced frontend specialist with a passion for UX and product development? Do you think conceptually about UX in addition to being a technical frontender? Do you have at least 5 years of experience and want to make an impact on software used daily by thousands of users? Then we would love to meet you.

What will you do

You will be involved in:

  • You develop and improve the frontend of Recranet Booking, the CMS, the Recranet Dashboard, and other Recranet products.
  • You translate complex processes into simple, logical, and user-friendly interfaces.
  • You develop new functionalities within our Angular applications.
  • You play an active role in the further development of our Verano UI Library.
  • You ensure a consistent user experience across all Recranet products.
  • You design user flows and optimize existing workflows based on user needs and practical experience.
  • You work closely with other colleagues in frontend, backend, marketing, and UI design.
  • You actively think about usability, interactions, and user experience.
  • You improve performance, accessibility, and scalability of our applications.

At Recranet, you have a lot of freedom to come up with your own ideas. Do you see a screen, process, or workflow that can be improved? Then we expect you to address and improve it.

What do we expect from you
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Frontend & UX Developer.
  • Experience with Angular, React, or Vue.
  • Good knowledge of TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Proven experience with UX within websites and web applications.
  • You understand how users think and can translate processes into logical workflows.
  • You are able to make good UX decisions independently within existing product lines.
  • You have experience with responsive design for desktop, tablet, and mobile.
  • You have knowledge of accessibility (WCAG) and modern web standards.
  • You understand APIs, data exchange, and the collaboration between frontend and backend.
  • You have experience with Git.
  • You understand how a design system or component library contributes to scalable product development.
  • You work structurally and think in scalable solutions.
  • You have proven experience with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot.
  • You are critical, proactive, and take responsibility.
  • You can work well with others and are open to feedback.
  • You are a non-smoker / vaper (non-smoke / vape policy).
Working with AI
  • At Recranet, we expect you to use AI smartly to develop faster, improve workflows, and automate repetitive tasks. You understand the possibilities and limitations of AI and remain responsible for the choices, quality, and end result. We are not looking for a developer who lets AI do the work, but a professional who effectively uses AI to enhance their expertise.
Nice to have
  • Experience with Angular, Figma, and design systems.
  • Experience with modern frontend tooling and UI frameworks.
  • Experience with SaaS products or complex web applications.
Why work as a Frontend & UX developer with us?

  • Working on a leading reservation system with (inter)national clients.

  • A reimbursement for your fitness subscription.
  • An annual training budget of €1500.
  • An annual inspiration budget: claim 10% of your vacation at one of our clients (max. €100).
  • Plenty of room to take initiative and make an impact.
  • Relocation allowance (if applicable).
  • A MacBook, external screens, and everything you need to work well.
