Job summary

A sustainable hotel group in Amsterdam is seeking a Front Office Intern to create delightful experiences for guests. You will assist at the Host desk, managing check-ins and inspiring guests with our story. This role requires a passion for hospitality and sustainability, along with good English skills. An internship fee of €600 per month and various employee discounts are included.

Qualifications

• Passion for the hotel industry looking for a Front Office Internship for a minimum of 4 months.
• Energetic about running a full hotel with the team.
• Interest in sustainability and working at a sustainable company.
• Willingness to experience various aspects of hotel life.
• Good English communication skills.
• Preferably living in or near Amsterdam.

Job description

We are Conscious Hotels, we have four stylish eco-hotels in Amsterdam. That's not all, in the hotels you will also find two organic restaurants and two coffee bars. We also host meetings, events and weddings. We want our guests to have a great time, so we always come up with fresh, creative ways to connect with our guests. We call that “Eco-Sexy. Big Smiles".

What you will do

• Making guests happy with a flawless, inspiring and unforgettable stay in our eco sexy hotels

• Run the Host desk together with the team. You will be involved in everything from check in, tips (we know Amsterdam better than google;) to check out and everything in between

• Inspire guests with our story as the face and first point of contact of Conscious

• Being responsible for your own projects

Who are you

• This is one you won't see coming: you have a passion for the hotel industry and are looking for a Front Office Internship for a minimum of 4 months

• The thought of running a full hotel with the team energizes you

• You have passion for sustainability and therefore want to do an internship at a sustainable company

• You want to experience hotel life - every part of the day and shift is different

• You speak at least good English

• You preferably live in or near Amsterdam
