Job summary

Conscious Hotels invites ambitious HBO/WO hospitality students to join Hotel V Oosterpark as a Hotel Management Intern. You will assist with daily operations, support the Hotel Manager on projects, and even lead your own initiatives to drive improvements.

Qualifications

• You are an HBO/WO hospitality student.
• Internship of at least 5 months is preferred.
• Proactive, passionate and ambitious mindset.
• You speak Dutch and English fluently.
• Preferably live in or near Amsterdam.
• You are flexible and can handle three operational shifts per week.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily hotel operations and work on projects with the Hotel Manager.
• Lead and participate in your own projects to improve operations.
• Support the Front Desk during peak hours and resolve guest issues.

And now, Hotel V Oosterpark is looking for a Hotel Management Intern.

As a (soon-to-be) hospitality professional, you might be dreaming of the opportunity to manage your own hotel. Well, this internship comes pretty damn close! As a Management Trainee, you will be responsible for the daily operations and work on projects together with the Hotel Manager. This is probably one of the most challenging and rewarding internships that you will come across!

When you are on shift, you will support your team wherever possible. Rush hour at the Front Desk? You've got it covered. Big complaint from a guest? You know how to turn their experience around. Someone left their bread in the toaster too long and it's about to set off the evacuation alarm? You've already disabled it. Because you are able to stay as cool as a cucumber and think outside the box, you can handle any situation. You know how to connect with your team to achieve amazing results together.

Next to your operational shifts, you will also support the Hotel Manager with ongoing projects and targets. But you also start and lead your own project(s). These projects will vary, but are all about innovating and improving. Feel free to share your own thoughts!

About you!

• You are a HBO/WO student (hospitality related, but other fields of study are also welcome);
• You are looking for an internship of at least 5 months;
• You are proactive, passionate and ambitious;
• You speak Dutch and English fluently and have a good sense of language;
• You preferablylive in or near Amsterdam;
• You are flexible. You will work three operational shifts per week. You don't mind morning-, evening- or weekend shifts.

• Generous internship allowance: €800–950 per month (based on full-time and depending on the duration of your internship);
