Job summary

Apollo Hotel Amsterdam, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel, is seeking a friendly Host to welcome guests, assist with check-in, and provide information about local highlights. You will handle reservations by phone, assist guests with check-out, and help with luggage as guests explore the city.

Applicants should be fluent in Dutch and English, have a hospitality mindset, and be available part-time for morning and evening shifts. EU citizenship or valid NL work permit is required.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

You are the point of contact for our guests and provide them with all the information they need. You assist guests with check-in and tell them about the highlights they absolutely shouldn’t miss. Meanwhile, you receive a phone call from a guest who wants to reserve a room for next week. No problem - you take care of that too. You notice the next guests are ready to check out, so you help them right away. You're genuinely curious about how they experienced their stay with us. You take their luggage so they can enjoy the city a bit longer before they leave. They tell you they'll be back soon. That’s why you do it!

To be considered for this role, applicants must be an EU citizen or hold a valid work permit for the Netherlands.
