Job summary

OTC Flow, based in Amsterdam, is seeking a Sales Trader to build your own client portfolio and provide strategic trade solutions. You will engage in outreach, prospect new clients, and collaborate with senior traders to grow your market footprint.

The role offers rigorous training, language requirements (French and English), and a vibrant, international team in the heart of Amsterdam, with a clear path to professional growth through performance-driven incentives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• 1–2+ years in B2B sales, business development, or client-facing roles in commodities, energy markets, or environmental sectors.
• Strong sales, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Proactive, resilient and comfortable with cold calling and outreach.
• Fluency in French and English communications.

Responsibilities

• Proactively build your client portfolio through direct prospecting via cold calling and networking.
• Communicate with clients through phone, online and face-to-face meetings to understand their business needs.
• Identify trade opportunities and support in executing them.
• Serve as the primary source of information for your contacts.
• Provide daily pricing and insights to market actors through messaging systems.
• Monitor markets and stay updated on financial news and developments.
• Stay informed about the products being traded and current on new products and procedures.
• Be responsible for achieving your own revenue (PnL) target.
• Promote OTC Flow’s services to increase the company’s market share.
