Job summary

ASICS EMEA in Hoofddorf near Amsterdam is offering a paid internship in the FP&A team. You'll gain hands-on exposure to financial reporting, planning, forecasting, and management reporting in an international setting.

Requirements include enrollment at a Dutch university for the full duration, available February/March for 5-6 months, study in Finance/Accounting or Economics, and strong Excel and PowerPoint skills. A proactive, cross-cultural mindset is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled at a Dutch University for the entire duration of the internship.
• Availability from February/March for 5-6 months.
• Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or Economics studies
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of ERP systems like SAP, SAP Analytics Cloud is preferred.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Proactive, eager to learn, and comfortable working in a dynamic, international environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the preparation of management presentations for the Executive Team and ASICS Headquarters (AHQ), ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Collect, consolidate, validate, and analyse financial data, including variance analysis against budget, forecast, and prior year across business channels and product categories.
• Assist in financial planning and forecasting activities by maintaining planning templates, tracking submissions, and supporting the completion of planning cycles.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial reporting, planning, and forecasting processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Support the standardization and automation of reporting templates, helping streamline reporting activities and improve consistency.
• Assist in improving data quality, reporting accuracy, and overall efficiency across financial deliverables.
• Collaborate closely with the FP&A Manager, Senior FP&A Controller, Finance team members, and other stakeholders to gather inputs, ensure alignment, and maintain consistency across reports and planning submissions.

Your Internship Experience At ASICS

Located at our EMEA headquarters in Hoofddorp, near Amsterdam, you'll join the FP&A team and gain valuable hands-on experience in an international business environment. During your internship, you'll gain practical experience in financial reporting, planning and forecasting activities across ASICS EMEA, supporting financial analysis, management reporting, and planning coordination whilst developing your understanding of commercial finance, business performance, and strategic decision-making.
