Job summary

Radisson Blu Hotel Amsterdam Airport is looking for an enthusiastic and flexible Food & Beverage Supervisor to join our F&B team. You will lead a small to mid-sized on-floor team, stay hands-on, and act as the go-to person during shifts to ensure smooth service across outlets.

Your role focuses on guest experience, service excellence, and operational duties, with emphasis on team development, event coordination and adherence to hygiene and presentation standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar supervisory role in hospitality.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts.
• Good command of English (Dutch is a plus).

Responsibilities

• Provide daily operational leadership to a team of 2–10 colleagues on the floor.
• Hands-on involvement in service and act as the go-to person during shifts.
• Greet guests, advise on menus and drinks, and upsell where appropriate.
• Coordinate event setups and ensure facilities are guest-ready.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and ongoing coaching of team members.
• Maintain hygiene and presentation standards and manage POS transactions.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth guest experiences.

Radisson Blu Hotel Amsterdam Airport is looking for an enthusiastic and flexible Food & Beverage Supervisor to join our F&B team. Are you seeking a diverse role in an international hotel where guest experience is key? Then keep reading!

As a Food & Beverage Supervisor, you are the driving force on the floor. You provide daily operational leadership to a team of 2 to 10 colleagues, ensuring smooth service across our various outlets. You are hands-on, participate actively in service, and act as the go-to person during your shift.

Your key responsibilities:

Guest Service & Experience

• Warmly welcoming and advising guests on menu and drinks;
• Taking orders and communicating them accurately to the kitchen;
• Serving food and beverages in a professional and presentable way;
• Proactively responding to guest needs and encouraging upselling;
• Ensuring hygiene and presentation standards are maintained.
• Training, mentoring, and motivating team members;
• Optimizing shift planning and identifying staffing issues together with the F&B Operations Manager;
• Supporting recruitment and onboarding of new colleagues.

Operational Duties

• Handling payments and using the POS system correctly;
• Resolving and reporting any discrepancies;
• Contributing to continuous improvement and guest satisfaction.
• Coordinating event setups and ensuring facilities are guest-ready;
• Functionally managing staff during events;
• Ensuring smooth cooperation with other departments.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a similar supervisory role in hospitality
• Flexibility to work varied shifts
• Good command of English (Dutch is a plus)
