Job summary

DeltaQuad in the Netherlands is seeking a UAV Maintenance & Repair Technician to ensure the readiness and reliability of our UAV systems. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, calibrations, and firmware updates, and conduct flight readiness checks on deployed systems.

You will also support service center operations, maintain records, and collaborate with engineering for product improvements. The role requires hands-on experience, strong troubleshooting, and English proficiency, with

Qualifications

Must have hands-on experience with UAV systems, electronics and mechanical repair.
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills required.
Experience with soldering and electronic components is needed.
Structured and detail-oriented way of working is essential.
Proactive mindset and ownership of tasks.
Proficient in English (spoken and written).
Based within commuting distance of Amsterdam (max 45 minutes).

Responsibilities

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair UAV systems (airframes, avionics, propulsion, payloads).
Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and system checks.
Replace components such as motors, ESCs, sensors, GPS modules, and other subsystems.
Perform firmware updates, calibrations, and system configurations.
Conduct functional testing and flight readiness checks after repairs.
Manage incoming and outgoing repair cases and service requests.
Maintain accurate service records, repair reports, and documentation.
Ensure proper handling, storage, and tracking of UAV systems and components.
Maintain tools, test equipment, and workspace organization.
Support spare parts management and inventory tracking.
Ensure all repairs meet DeltaQuad quality standards and safety requirements.
Identify recurring issues and provide feedback to engineering teams.
Contribute to continuous improvement of repair processes and service workflows.
Ensure compliance with internal procedures and aviation safety standards.
Provide technical support to internal teams (operations, training, customer support).
Assist in preparing systems for demos, training, and deployments.
Support root cause analysis and failure investigations.
Collaborate with engineering on product updates and improvements.
